| 1 | In order for you to receive Bonus Miles when referring a friend, your friend (the applicant) must provide the operator with the same Mileage Plus number used by Chase to post Miles to your Mileage Plus frequent flyer account (not your credit card account number). Referring Cardmember: please allow 6-8 weeks after your new Cardmember's first purchase for Bonus Miles to post to your Mileage Plus account. Referring Cardmember will receive 5,000 Bonus Miles per new Cardmember referred up to 15,000 Bonus Miles. New Cardmember: please allow 3-6 weeks after your first purchase for Bonus Miles to post to your Mileage Plus account. |
Miles are not earned on balance transfers and convenience checks (with the exception of the Mileage Plus Gold Class Visa Card which enables Cardmembers to earn a combined maximum of 10,000 balance transfer and convenience check miles each year), nor are they earned on cash advances, fees, or finance charges. Your United Mileage Plus credit card account must be open and in good standing in order to receive bonus miles at the time the miles are posted. Bonus miles do not count towards mileage caps.
Miles accrued and awards issued are subject to the rules of the United Mileage Plus program. United, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products and services of other participating companies and partners. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after completed qualifying activity for bonus miles to be posted to your Mileage Plus account. The Mileage Plus Program, including accruals, awards and Bonus Miles offers, is subject to change without notice. Taxes and fees related to award travel are the responsibility of the passenger.
